Skytide Announces Insight Product Line
Three Solutions Enable New Levels of Visibility into Digital Media Economics
San Mateo, CA — April 2, 2009 — Skytide Inc., the leader in Digital Media Performance Management, today announced its Skytide Insight product line, designed to provide digital media companies and content delivery networks (CDNs) with the most complete and accurate picture of their P&L.
The new product line addresses the growing demand for advanced analytics focused on rich media delivery and consumption. These solutions provide a comprehensive, precise understanding of rich media revenues and costs, drawing on a range of structured and semi–structured data sources.

Skytide Insight solutions will launch in the second quarter of 2009 with a number of media companies and CDNs who are currently piloting them. The product line includes:
- Skytide Insight for CDNs is a managed, on–premise reporting and analytics solution that provides CDNs and their customers with a deeper understanding of their respective operations. It also enables CDNs to provide their customers with a tailored analytics and reporting portal that they can use to measure, manage, and monetize their rich media assets.
- Skytide Insight for Digital Media is a hosted analytics and reporting solution that acts as an income statement for digital content. It enables media company operations executives to make informed decisions based on a thorough understanding of their P&L. The initial release will be delivered through the Open Video Player (OVP) initiative.
- Skytide Insight product line is based on the Skytide Analytical Platform, a powerful analytical engine and toolset that enable companies to make business sense out of very high volumes of structured and unstructured data in near real–time. It allows for the creation of custom solutions that the Skytide Insight CDN and Media suites do not address.
